Meet with Congressional Staff

You’ve sent letters to your Senator. You’ve called the staff members of your Representative. Now what? What else can you do?
Meeting face-to-face with Congressional staff in or near your hometown requires only a small time investment, and the returns are high. The people who determine policy for your elected representatives might ignore a couple of isolated phone calls about Darfur, but they can’t disregard a tide of concerned citizens and communities who meet with them personally.
Our political and non-profit allies in Washington, DC and across the country have made this much clear: not enough communities are visiting the local offices of their leaders. This can soon change with your help.
Sign up to meet with Congressional staffers in or near your hometown. Just complete the form below. You don’t need to have any “lobbying” experience at all: we only ask that you bring your compassion to the table. After you sign up, we’ll send you some clear and timely talking points, to make sure that your visit is both effective and easy on you/your group.
One final and important note: We’re more than happy to do all of the logistical legwork for you. Among other things, we can call Congressional staffers on your behalf, to confirm an appointment that fits your schedule.
